General Description
We're back again with more Mottainai! It felt like just the other day I tried the previous flavour. Time sure does fly when keeping up these seasonal entries.
This time we have "Hama brand" pears from Yokohama! The can highlights their "juicy tastiness" as one of their special features.
Just like the other entries in Kirin's series, you can find out more about the production and the people behind it on their site. I also gave a short introduction to their project in my first review for Mottainai.

It's sweet all the way through. Not as bitter as the other flavours, but there is a slightly bitter undertone to it.
Although the page for the drink on Kirin's website advertises its aftertaste, I don't really feel there is one, especially in comparison to the other entries in the series.
Tastes very similar to a pear gummy with its subdued sweet flavour. - Texture

There is a sweet, slightly alcoholic pear smell.

This is my favourite flavour so far. While much like the previous flavours, it isn't doing anything special, I quite like the taste. If I drank alcohol more often, I would probably go out of my way to get it.
The flavour reminds me of the holidays since I would often drink Peardrax (a non-alcoholic pear drink) around Christmas. They don't taste the same, but they both have an instantly recognizable pear taste, which surprised me as I don't have pear or pear-flavoured things often since they are seasonal in Japan. If you are a fan of pears, then this drink is definitely for you. - Would I try again?
